Jam Extended is a game that combines fun shapes and colors, and the need for thinking in one fun game. Jam Extended is quick to learn. You don’t use any arrow keys, just the mouse so it’s fun for even younger children that have trouble using arrow keys to play games.

Jam Extended starts on a menu, that has four different buttons that you can press to get to different pages that you can explore. The first button is ‘Play’, this button will take you directly to the level select page, where you select the level on which you wish to start. The second button is ‘Results’, if you click on this you will see all your personal results, which means that if you haven’t played Jam Extended yet there will be nothing here. The third button is ‘Help’, this is the button you should click to get diagrams and written instructions on the game, which will be helpful for beginners. The fourth and final button is ‘More’, you can click on this if you would like to play games that are similar to Jam Extended. If you wish to return to the menu at any time, there is a ‘MENU’ button on each page, in the lower left corner.

When you have finished exploring the buttons on the menu, you can click on play and you will be able to play any of the four levels that they have, the levels are, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and professional, with beginner being the easiest and professional being the hardest, it is recommended that you start with beginner, but if you are ready for a challenge you can start on one of the other levels.

Once you decide and click on the level that you want to play, there will be a screen with several blocks that have stars in them, also there is a timer and a score area. To play Jam Extended you will have to use the mouse to select a block, then you will drag the mouse to select a group of blocks that have 4 of the same color blocks in each corner. Please note that your group of blocks will have to have more than one row and more than one column in it. Time timer will continue counting while you are making groups, once you have completed a group release the mouse button and all the blocks will be scored and your score will be added to the score bar. You can also select blocks that no longer have stars in them, but star blocks give you more points and are therefore better to get. Once you feel confident that you have mastered the beginner level you can move on to harder and harder levels until you have mastered them all. Jam Extended is a fun and easy game that doesn’t take to long to get the hang of!
